The House of Zion was created as filling a need for women and women with children who suffer from substance abuse and needed a second chance. A news story regarding homeless being murdered many years ago sparked a passion in the founder’s heart which fueled the fire to create this program. Through God’s immense grace, House of Zion Sober Living was formed. The program has been in existence for over 7 years and continues to be a refuge for women of all walks of life. What sets House of Zion aside from other sober living homes is the fact that we purposefully do not judge, believe in forgiveness, and treat everyone with equal respect and dignity regardless of status, income, or appearance. The home is maintained in a way that breeds respect and pride in your living quarters. Just because you suffer from substance abuse doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to live in a clean home.
